BLUE TIT HITS THE ROAD FOR FESTIVAL SEASON

This summer festival season team Blue Tit will be setting up pop-up salons at four of the coolest festivals, from London favourite Field Day to Dimensions in Croatia. We’ll be on hand to makeover your hair with our latest festival looks – think braids, hair chalks and our new Sun Bun technique. Find out more about each of the festivals and pre-pick your hair of choice below…

THE FESTIVALS

FIELD DAY
11th – 12th June, Victoria Park

We’ll be setting up shop at Field Day as they celebrate their 10th anniversary. This year’s line-up is better than ever, including James Blake, Four Tet, Nao and PJ Harvey.

SUNFALL
9th July, Brockwell Park

We’ll also be in Brockwell Park for the first UK festival offering from the team behind Croatian favourites Dimensions and Outlook for a day of house, hip-hop, techno, soul and disco.

SECRET GARDEN PARTY
21st – 24th July, Abbots Ripton

After having the best time last year, we’re heading back to Secret Garden Party. Stop by the pop-up salon in between catching the likes of Caribou, Submotion Orchestra and Sura.

DIMENSIONS
24 – 28th August,  Pula, Croatia

Who doesn’t like a holiday and a summer festival rolled into one? We certainly do, which is why we’ll be taking our pop-up to Croatia for Dimensions Festival. This year’s line-up is huge, including Massive Attack and Larry Heard AKA Mr Fingers performing live for the first time in 20 years.

THE STYLES

WASH ‘N’ STYLE

Three day unwashed festival hair is not a good look. Stop by for a shampoo and condition using luxury Davines products, followed by a blow-dry or style of your choice.

‘90s BUNS

If you’re after an up-do, make it our Spice Girls-inspired double buns. We’ll also be offering optional glitter-roots with this look.

FESTIVAL BRAIDS

Pigtails, cornrows, fishtail plaits – we’ll create any kind of braid you like to see you through days of camping.

THE SUN BUN

Get our trademark tie-dye colour trend, created by our colourist Harriet Muldoon. We use luxury dyes to create a rainbow colours on bleached hair. Treatment includes a wash and style but hair must be bleached already.

WASH-OUT COLOUR

Want to try something new? We’ll be offering a wash-out colour service, with a rainbow of colours to choose from. Treatment includes a wash and style.

HAIR CHALKS

Don’t fancy a full-on colour? Get geometric and tribal-inspired patterns stencilled onto your hair using our wash-out hair chalks.
