Behind the scenes at our Portobello launch party
We’re so excited to have launched our 10th salon – our very first in West London – and we got things off to a good start at our launch party, filled with VIP guests and good hair vibes. Read on to see behind the scenes.
THE INTERIORS

Designed by Blue Tit co-founder Perry Patraszewski, the bespoke interior draws inspiration from the iconic Bauhaus design school, fused with rich, earthy block colours and geometric forms. Perry worked closely with interior designer Sue Parker to create the perfect colour palette. “I wanted to make the salon really stand out from our other salons in the Blue Tit portfolio” Perry told us, explaining how he designed the interior with Portobello salon co-founder Kamila’s bubbly personality in mind.
THE GUESTS
We invited some of our favourite London creatives and influencers to the launch. From left to right: model Fae Williams, stylist and creative Director Violetta Kassapi, ASOS editor Lotte Williams, singer Hannah Diamond, Byrdie editor Alyss Bowen and model Charlie Barker. With hair by Kamila, Declan, Kirsty, Mads and Alexis.
THE PARTY
Our party was a lot of fun thanks in part to a few special Blue Tit friends. The Five Points beers were overflowing in our wash basins, we toasted G&Ts served up by local cocktail bar The Distillery, and we shared pizza courtesy of Sons of Slice. Non-stop blow-drys were done to a backdrop of tunes provided by DJ Grainger, with set up by Red Bull.
